I am having problems with my computer!!!  What’s new???  I just don’t like Windows 8, have had nothing but problems since I bought it.  Now I lost the icon to get online!!!  How do you lose an icon??  How come there isn’t another way to get online???  I think I need to take this to a PC Doctor and get it operated on.   I have also had problems with my IPad.  Coyita has been working on it and has it pretty well working normal again.  I think that maybe I am a jinx or just don’t know how to use it.  I am considering a smart phone, even though I had one, they are usually smarter than I am and won’t do what I want them to do.

This is Hanna, she just turned seven. Her mother Tara and dad Brandon.  She is quite a talker!!

Yesterday, Mark, Grant and I trimmed the trees in the park.  Lot more limbs that I thought there would be.  Took about three hours and still have a few more to do.

I baked some jalapeno bread the other day, in fact I have baked jalapeno bread twice!

Not sure what I am doing different but the bread has been turning out very good.  It raises and doesn’t fall when I bake it.  I had that problem for quite awhile, the bread still tastes good but it sure didn’t look very good.

Well, I am going to mow today and do a few odd jobs, like blow off the driveway, clean up some leaves and mow.  Should take a few hours.

Now to see if this will post seeing as how I can’t get online, this is supposed to do it by itself… We will see….  Bye Y’all….

Well, it is Saturday and I have kept quite busy the last few days.  Work at the park and then today we went to Morehouse to fix a ramp for a lady from church.  Took off a pretty good one from one house and then took it to Miss T’s and used part of it and stored the rest of it.  It got pretty warm and it took a couple hours more than I actually thought it would.  Lots more work we could have done….

Sonny is on the ground, Harold is in the tan shirt and Pastor is wearing the t-shirt. I figured it would take a couple of hours and ended up being four hours.  None of us are carpenters but I think what we did will hold. Sure hope so.

I forgot I didn’t take a picture of just us.  Maybe I still have one, I will have to check and post it later.  From Left to Right Alexa on Gianna’s lap, Kim, Dee, Linda and Bren.  Like I said I do have other pictures I just have to find them….

Talked to Mierlen today, he worked in the office.  He was hurting, his back is not doing good at all. He said this would probably be his last day of work because of his back.  I think he is going to go see his grandson who is a chiropractor.  Hope he gets it straightened out.  I may end up working on Saturdays.  Not looking forward to that.

Got my computer in running order again and it is time to start posting my blog, maybe not everyday, maybe once a week or so.  Maybe more often if there is something important to say.

I bought this computer last year and it had Windows 8 installed on it.  It worked for awhile but not very good. As time went by it got worse.  I had written a blog and couldn’t post it, I was on the internet but that was about all it would do. Randy, the guy who put Windows 7 back on my computer said there were so many viruses on my computer that it was a wonder it did anything at all and he also said some were quite vicious!  I can’t remember having a computer that works this fast.  My Google Chrome computer does but there are a lot of things I can’t do on it so $200 later I am happy.

Not sure what kind of bees these are, I would say yellow jackets.  Hopefully they aren’t the African Killer Bees.  They were on the ground for about two weeks then all of a sudden they went up into a pine tree.  I’m not going to mess with them, yellow jackets or African killer bees, which ever they are could really put the hurts on a person!

The weather has been pretty warm and really humid. Yesterday I mowed the campground. Mark got the mower fixed and I mowed the whole campground faster than I have ever mowed it before.  I think the guy “souped” up the mower!  It really goes fast and even in reverse it goes pretty fast.  Not real good for my Sciatic nerve problem. Before it would go slow enough that I could lift myself up going at top speed and now it just goes to fast so by the time I was done I was hurting!

Linda made some chicken and noodles the other day and we took a meal to Pete and Ann. Ann is not doing well at all and  has a hard time chewing.  We thought the chicken and noodles were very good and we hope they thought so too!

Our dogs like to get comfortable, doesn’t leave me a lot of room.

Our dinette isn’t very big so I am kind of cramped with one sleeping on either side of me but they are comfortable and I guess that is what counts.  I just can’t see Sparky being comfortable with his head on the table but that is the way he lays!

I am going to try posting this to see where it goes!!  Hopefully it will go to the last blog that I posted on.  There are now two sites but I can only post on the second one.  Bye Y’all..

Well, I worked yesterday, between showers.  Got pretty warm when the sun came out.

We cleaned up behind the shop and cleaned up the shop, did some weed eating and moving things around.  Worked up a sweat!

Went to the storage shed last night, found some of my t-shirts for work and then went to Wal Mart for a few things.  Bought some jalapeno peppers for some bread.  Supposed to get pretty chilly tonight and rain some more so I think I will try to make bread again.

Got out Dish hooked up again so we can record programs and watch some that we have missed.

Got up this morning and the weather person was right, it is a lot cooler and it is raining.  Chloe didn’t want to go out but she did her job pretty fast.

The jalapeno bread turned out pretty nice, that is a change because I have been having terrible luck with the bread lately…

I tried a piece and it tastes pretty good.  Kind of hot but still tastes good.

Guess we will stay around today, looks like rain all day!  Bye Y’all…..

We made it to Sikeston this afternoon.  Long drive from Ketchum OK!!  Everything went well, well, except for the gas.  Filled up just before going into Missouri, should’ve waited, it was ten cents a gallon cheaper in MO!

We got bored at Pelican landing, not much going on.  I guess I could have done some mowing but I didn’t volunteer.  The guy that mowed only mowed for an hour or so per day. Think he did some other things, not sure what though.

The trip today was long and tiring but there were really no problems.  Guess I will say Bye Y’all….

Well I will have to say that this has been one windy trip!!  I decided to slow down some.  Instead of driving 62MPH I slowed down to 55-57MPH.  Gas mileage went from 7 or 8 up to 9 – 10 MPG!!!  Doesn’t sound like much but that is better than a 10% increase in gas mileage and that makes me very happy.  We also got gas in Oklahoma City for $3.19 a gallon, which is the cheapest that I’ve seen on this trip and probably this year.

We stopped at a campground in Carlsbad NM which was pretty nice, expensive, but nice.

We drove from Carlsbad to Amarillo TX.  Long and windy drive.  The PA campground we stayed at isn’t a PA campground anymore.  Neither was the one in Carlsbad.  What a bummer.

Thought this was cute, Beverly Hillbillies truck I guess.  This was in Amarillo.

We stopped last night after passing a KOA and not much else.  This was a nice campground in Seminole OK or close to it.  We happened to see the sign and pulled off.  I like this campground.  It isn’t expensive but the first campground I have been in that has a cement pad for the camper.  Other campgrounds have everything cement and blacktop but this is really nice and level!

This is part of a restaurant and had a hard time finding a place to pay!

We are traveling on to Ketchum OK today.  This wind is already blowing about 25 MPH and is going to be a hard drive until we head North.

Thought I would post another piece to the blog.  We stayed in Wilcox AZ for three nights.  We planned on two nights but they said Thursday was really supposed to be windy.  Well, I guess Tucson was really windy but not bad at all in Wilcox.  That was OK though, we like it in Ft Wilcox RV Park even though it isn’t one that is a super park but it is comfortable.  Marian came to visit twice.   Sean came the first time and she came alone the second time.  We went to eat at a little Mexican place that wasn’t bad at all.  We all ordered breakfast for lunch.  Hit the spot.

We left Wilcox yesterday, nice morning, but after a few hours it got kind of windy.  I wanted to make it to Van Horn TX but decided to stop in Vado NM.  We have stayed in this campground quite a few times.  Not a real nice campground but it is PA and the regular rate is $38 and I definitely wouldn’t pay $38 to stay here.  Hopefully today will be a nicer day to drive but I think we will still stop in Van Horn.  We like the people and the park, it is worth the money to stay there.  Oh, I took this picture this morning just before the sun came up.

Not the greatest picture but I wanted to get the outline of the mountains.

Linda has a sore on her lip that is really giving her fits.  I can imagine that it is really sore. We aren’t really sure what to put on it or do for it. Hopefully it will go away!

We left San Diego on April 28th. Guess the trip went OK.  The mountains aren’t fun but we made the trip across OK.

We got to Yuma pretty early, around 4PM I think and found the campground that was PA.  We pulled in and the first thing I asked was if they had any pull through spots???  Nope, should have asked when I made reservations.  They campground next to them made a pull through for us and we stayed the night.  The campground was OK.  They had cable and wifi but the wifi didn’t work very good, like most campgrounds.

It was ninety one degrees when we got here, not real bad, no humidity, but we still needed the AC.  It was nice sitting or walking around outside though.  The AC here doesn’t work the greatest and it is very noisy.  It got it about comfortable in here, and we left it on all night even though it was the fan that was running most of the night.

In the morning I took Sparky around the park and found on the East end a street that doesn’t get any traffic.  I let Sparky run and he had a good time.

We stopped and got gas before getting on the road.  Really expensive.  Not as expensive as CA though. 

The wind started blowing and it blew all the way to Wilcox.  It wasn’t blowing in the right direction of course but for some reason it doesn’t affect the gas mileage a lot, it is always bad.  Got 6.8 MPG on the first fill up and 10 MPG on the second.  Not sure why it was 10MPG but I will take it.  Next one will probably be 5 MPG.

We called Marian and she came down yesterday with Sean.  Had a real good visit. We went out to eat at Pizza Hut.

I think we all ate to much but that is getting to be regular.

Weather forecast says it is going to be windy tomorrow, gusts to 40 MPH out of the east so I think we will stay another night.  Friday is only supposed to be breezy.  Not really in any hurry.

Marian is coming back again today to visit. David is delivering campers.
