Yes, it has been awhile since I have posted my blog but then there aren’t a lot of people that can see it.  When I downloaded this writer on this computer I must have changed the address because it goes to a different blog now, same name but a different place!

We have been busy building the little room, expensive little room but it does give us a lot of needed space to live.  Not real sure what we will do with it yet but I’m sure we will use it for something…

Mary did all the taping, mudding, texturing, tile and grouting.  Really looks good!

Got some tiles laid and now working on a little piece on the steps…

Looks good doesn’t it????  Mary is wearing some of my home made knee pads. It is a swimming noodle held on with rubber bands.  More comfortable than regular knee pads.  Mary got blisters on her knees laying the tiles because she didn’t have knee pads.  Guess that hurt pretty bad.

We went to Polga the other day with Joe and Dee.  Had a good time walking around.  Got a nice picture of them…

We are having Spiro papas! They are excellent.  Just a potato cut in a spiral and deep fried with some goodies to go on them.  Linda looks happy….

I think I have a picture of the room after the trim was put up…

Mark calls this the Hinton Rustic look!  It does look OK but I think other trim would have looked a little better.  We still aren’t done.  I need to put on security screen doors another piece of trim and them start moving furniture out here.  We will probably change it around quite a lot until we find the way we like it.

I started working in the coffee shop at church, it is call Holy Grounds. It is very interesting, the people that make the Latte and Frappe drinks are really fast.  I serve coffee and help with the cleanup.  Last Sunday I put toppings on the drinks, whip cream, chocolate, caramel etc.  I kind of enjoy doing it.

Joe and Mary left yesterday to go back to Michigan.  Their daughter Monica has cancer and they want to be there to help out.

Guess that is all I can remember, we probably have done a lot more but it has just slipped my mind so it is time to say bye Y’all…..
